Recently, I had the pleasure of staying at HLL Hotel Lungolago Lecco, a charming little gem by the picturesque Lake Como. As a wildlife conservationist and safari guide, I relish experiences that blend comfort with local culture, and this family-run hotel certainly delivered. We enjoyed a spacious apartment, complete with a lake-view balcony that became our serene retreat after busy days exploring Lecco. The location is simply perfect-only 50 meters from the bus stop, making it easy to navigate around the town. We had delightful breakfasts that included fresh pastries, providing a lovely start to our days. The staff, particularly Leonardo and Simone, greeted us with genuine warmth and were incredibly helpful throughout our stay, truly embodying the welcoming spirit of Italian hospitality. Though we faced a hiccup with our room upon arrival, the staff swiftly moved us to our spacious and recently renovated apartment, which made for a comfortable family setup while enjoying our time away from Kenya. For anyone looking for a mix of scenic views and warm service, HLL Hotel Lungolago Lecco is definitely a spot worth considering!
